Thanks for sharing this wonderful personal story Laura.

We make change one person at a time together over time.

When I started working for pay equity in 1973, women received 66 percent of the pay earned by men. At that time we equal pay advocates realized equal pay for equal work was not enough to close the gap. Women and people of color also deserved equal pay for work of equal value. And advocates have been pushing for both ever since.


Progress, like civilization, is too slow and I am only one. But I am one.
